Workspaces & members
A workspace is a self-contained area with its own projects, statuses, labels, tasks, notes and sheets. Switching workspace switches all of that.
Workspaces
- You get a personal workspace on first login, and can create more (e.g. a shared team workspace).
- Switch between them with the workspace switcher in the sidebar.
- Tasks, projects, statuses, labels and notes never leak between workspaces.
Members & roles
- A workspace can have several members. Roles are owner, admin, and member.
- The owner created the workspace and can rename it and remove members.
- You invite people by email; the invite link is valid for a limited time, and the invitee accepts after signing in.
- Member management lives on the workspace members page.
- All members can read and edit the workspace's tasks; there are no per-task permissions.
Assignment
- Any task can be assigned to one workspace member. Unassigned is the default.
- Assigning to nobody clears the assignee.
Voice tip. "Assign the deploy task to Anna" ("przypisz X do Y") sets the assignee — the assistant only assigns to people who are already members of the workspace.
