The voice assistant
The voice assistant is the floating button (FAB) in the bottom-right corner. Tap it and speak — English or Polish. Your speech is transcribed, the assistant acts on it, and replies with a short confirmation in your language. You can also type instead of speaking.
What it can do
- Tasks — create, edit (title, description, due date, priority), assign, label, move between projects and statuses, complete/uncomplete, delete — one at a time or in bulk ("create these five tasks", "move all of these to Done").
- Statuses — create, rename, recolor, reorder, delete kanban columns.
- Labels — create, rename, recolor, delete.
- Projects — create, rename, archive.
- Notes — read, search, create and update notes, including turning a note into tasks.
- Answer questions about how Yoke works.
How a turn works
After you speak, a progress indicator shows each step — transcribing, thinking, then every action taken. When it finishes you see a one-line summary of what changed.
Revert
Most turns can be undone with the Revert button on the summary — it restores tasks to how they were before the turn. One caveat: permanent deletes can't be restored, and a turn that deleted tasks will say so.
Follow-ups
Keep the conversation going — type or speak a follow-up and the assistant remembers what just happened, so "make that one urgent too" works without repeating yourself.
Tips for good results
- Speak for at least half a second; near-silent clips are rejected to avoid garbled transcripts.
- Batch similar changes into one breath — it's faster than many small turns.
- If a reference is ambiguous ("move the task"), the assistant asks which one rather than guessing.
